Bletchley Park

During WWII this estate became England’s code breaking center. You may recognize the name from the book/movie Imitation Game. This is where the German enigma machine was first cracked and where Alan Turing developed his bombe machine to speed the process of breaking enigma encoded messages.

Fun fact: Allen Turning’s bombe machine was based off a Polish designed bomba machine. They were not computers but electro-mechanical devices.
